Candle Care 101 — How to Get the Best Burn Every Time

Your Good Intentions candle is handcrafted with love and purpose. To get the most out of it, here’s how to burn it the right way — because caring for your candle = caring for your experience.

🔥 The Ultimate Candle Care Tips

1. Trim the Wick (Every Time!)
Before each burn, trim your wick to about ¼ inch. This prevents high flames, soot, and uneven melting.

2. Let It Burn to the Edges
On your first light, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the jar (about 2–3 hours). This prevents tunneling and gives you the longest life.

3. Avoid Drafts
Keep your candle away from fans or open windows — uneven airflow can mess with your flame and scent throw.

4. Don’t Burn for Too Long
4 hours max per session! Any longer can overheat the vessel or affect fragrance quality.

5. Use the Lid to Cover (When Cool)
When your candle is off and cooled, cover it to keep dust out and scent in.
